When celebrated bio-engineer Alice Gast was appointed as their new President, Imperial College decided to launch an alumnus appeal. The goal was simple: raise a glass, raise funds and make Imperial shine.
In response, I set about crafting a highly-personalised alumni appeal which makes excellent use of behavioural economics techniques. This online and offline appeal says: I am Imperial, I am Impressive, I am making an Impact. It certainly did, raising over £300,000 in donations from proud Imperial alumni.
